What Similarweb measures
Similarweb provides an external view of website traffic and engagement. Its Website Performance documentation covers visits over time, geography, device distribution and marketing channels. Extcorp uses the available Similarweb views to configure work for the client’s domain and goal.

Who this service is for
- Companies and website owners who want an external view of traffic visibility.
- Agencies that need a Similarweb-specific campaign path for a client domain.
- Teams comparing market presence across countries, devices or sources.
- Independent owners testing whether the service fits one established website.
Similarweb, Semrush and GA4 use different data
Similarweb and Semrush both provide external estimates, but their methods and results remain separate. GA4 is first-party measurement generated by the website’s own tagging and consent configuration. Extcorp supports all three as separate services without presenting one platform’s number as another’s.
Platform note: Extcorp is an independent service provider and is not affiliated with Similarweb. Similarweb controls its data coverage, calculations, filters and update behavior.
